Endémique du Maroc et de la Péninsule ibérique photographiée dans le Rif.

L'étendard semble dorsalement glabre : il s'agirait de la subsp. cantabricum (Spach) Talavera & Gibbs (=Cytisus tridentatus var. gomarica Emb. & Maire)
