Pseudopodospermum undulatum

Synonym: Scorzonera undulata Vahl

Since the genus Scorzonera sensu lato is polyphyletic, a revised delimitation has been proposed to recognize seven distinct genera, including Pseudopodospermum (Zaika et al., 2020). The glabrous-leaved plant should be assigned to subsp. deliciosa, while the canescent-leaved one should be assigned to subsp. undulata (photos 10, 11, et 12 ?). Distinguishing between the two subspecies is delicate (Maire, 1931, contr. 851).
