Asparagus albus

Spiny shrub up to 0.9 m tall, with several woody stems . The plants have deciduous cladodes that fall at the end of the growing season (May–June). Flowers are hermaphrodite and bloom abundantly at the end of the summer. The fruits ripen by fall (late September–October) and are dispersed by birds.
